Oh my goodness, you guys, last week I just finished my 10th novel. HIS RUTHLESS BITE, (Scandals With Bite Book 4) is book #10.

My son and I went to Red Lobster to celebrate.

I completed my 1st novel in 2009, so that's 10 books in 7 years. And let me tell you, it doesn't get any easier.

His Ruthless Bite will release on April 15th, and I'll be posting my virtual tour itinerary soon.

I've also received some news on my next two Hearts of Metal novels, but I can't share it just yet.

In other news, it looks like I may be attending the RWA National Conference this July.

Next projects on the list are to start Brides of Prophecy Book 4, titled: UNLEASHING DESIRE.

Speaking of Brides of Prophecy: Reading Deals has a deal where you can snag a free copy of Book 2 in exchange for an honest review.

Book 1 is already free, whether you choose to review it or not.

Other plans on the table include: Learning how to use a sewing machine, finishing my car restoration project, catching some rainbow trout, and starting another quilt.

Oh, and the big news: I'm going to the RWA National Conference in San Diego in July!!!

Needless to say, I'm insanely busy!

February update.

Hey, all! Sorry for the long absence. I've been busy as hell finishing up this book and editing client manuscripts, so I've had zero time to check in with you all.

I hope to get this dang book done by the 12th at the latest since I have my beta readers and proofreaders lined up.

Other exciting events on the way is that I'll be participating in the Spokane Valley Barnes & Noble with multiple authors, including Asa Maria Bradley, Kerry Schafer, Sarah Brady, Kris Dinnison, S.M. Hulse, Cindy Hval, Stephanie Oakes, Sharma Shields, Rachel Toor, Augustina Van Hoven, Mary J. Williams, Danielle Annett, and Maya Jewell Zaelle.

This is a big step for me since I'm usually a depressed zombie during Februarys ever since my mom passed away on Valentine's Day seven years ago.

I have gotten better in the past two years, doing my best to turn Valentine's Day into a happy day. I've made it a tradition to watch Mom's favorite movies. And I've also doubled my efforts to hold my grief at bay with hard work on my books. In fact, back in 2014, I released my first indie novel, WRENCHING FATE, which you can pick up for free everywhere ebooks are sold.

A little romance has even been added to the day. My boyfriend has taken to giving me a rose and we have a nice dinner before we watch movies.

Since Valentine's Day is on a Sunday this year, I'm going to do the romance and movies thing with him the day before. I'm going to cook him a pot roast. Here's my recipe:

And Sunday will be the signing. It was on my 2016 goals to do at least one, so this is a perfect opportunity. It'll also be nice to visit with my fellow authors and interract with readers.

The day after, I'm taking a mental health day.

So despite being overwhelmed and stressed, I'm doing my best to keep this February sane and productive.

I'll keep you all posted on how it goes!

Have a great month, everyone!
